Avarn Security has been commissioned to provide security services at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, which involves staffing with airport controllers, security guards, and watchmen. For many years, we have also provided security services to Malmö Airport (Sturup), Sälen Airport (Scandinavian Mountains Airport), and Oslo Gardermoen Airport.

We offer you an exciting job at Scandinavia's largest security site. The role involves working in security checks and some stationary guarding. You will be based at the security checkpoint as an airport controller but will reinforce our security guard team when needed. This role demands a high level of individual responsibility to maintain high security standards at the site. The job requires good teamwork skills and the ability to make decisions independently. Being communicative and physically fit is essential for thriving in this role. You need to be flexible and comfortable with tasks changing on short notice.

The position is full-time, provided you pass the required training and receive the necessary licenses for the role. Until then, you will have a 70% employment contract. You will primarily work as an airport controller in the security checks and support guarding at our various positions, with gates being the most common. Working hours are distributed across all hours and days of the week.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis. The position is a permanent role with a 6-month probationary period starting after agreement, requiring the completion of training necessary for employment at Arlanda.

The role requires you to be eligible to carry a weapon. An assessment interview will be conducted for this competency before weapon training takes place.

It is advantageous if you are already trained as a security guard and airport controller. If not, we will ensure you receive the necessary training.

Other experience from the security industry is also considered an advantage.

• Legal capacity
• Clean criminal record, law-abiding, and drug-free*
• High school diploma, passed Swedish 1 and English 5
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Sound financial standing
• Functional color vision and hearing
• Good health and physical fitness
• Class B driver's license

Advantageous qualifications for the role:

• Experience working in the security industry
• 2 years of work experience
• Security guard training
• Watchman training Vu1 and Vu2
• HAS training
• Experience in independent work
